A Small Businesses Guide to Reopening

As Southern New England begins to reopen its economy, we know businesses are eager to get customers in the door to make up for lost time. However, the way you do business will look a little different due to CDC social distancing guidelines. That's why we created a ‘Small Businesses Guide to Reopening,’ which outlines the 4 things you'll need to reopen safely and effectively. From yard signs and banners to let your customers know you're open, to essential floor decals and window graphics with social distancing and mask requirements, our guide to reopening has you covered!

1.) Floor Graphics Enforcing Social Distancing

According to the CDC, one of the requirements to reopen is "providing physical guides, such as tape on floors or sidewalks and signage on walls to ensure that customers remain at least six feet apart in lines or waiting for seating." So it’s time to replace that makeshift tape on the floors and order professional floor graphics made to last.

2.) Window Graphics Communicating Facial Covering Requirements

Several New England cities and towns have now made facial covering a requirement inside businesses, but it may take some time for patrons to get used to our new normal, so make sure you’re properly communicating new requirements with window graphics.

3.) Banners Advertising you’re Open for Business

We know COVID-19 has been hard on small businesses, some are ready to come back in full force, while others aren’t planning on reopening at all. So, erase any room for doubt and make sure customers know your business is open and ready to serve the community by proudly displaying a message on a banner.

4.) Indoor/Outdoor Sidewalk Signs Displaying New Hours

With new town curfews and occupancy limits, businesses are having to rework their typical store hours and how they handle foot traffic. Eliminate any questions from customers by displaying your updated hours and new policies on signs.
